I am greatly saddened by Maricar's passing.  It has been awhile since I last saw her.

I have very vivid memories of our times spent together in school.  And also of weekends spent with Maricar and the Matoza family in their homes in Makati and Pampangga in the Philippines.  These, I will always treasure.

We will keep Maricar in our prayers. We will also pray for you, George and Zachary in this very difficult time.
Our condolences.

The last time I saw Maricar was at our April 2004 reunion in LA. She was happy, having a great time and had a big grin on her face. I will always cherish that moment.

May Maricar's family find peace and love in the memories you cherish.

Please remember that in the passage of time there will be healing. Our prayers are with you in this difficult time.

With Heartfelt Condolences,

In behalf of my family, we would like to extend our condolences to Maricar's husband George, & son Zachary, as well as the whole Matoza family.

I am really very glad that we had the 2004 reunion here in Los Angeles. That all gave us a chance to spend time with Maricar & reminisce about "the good ol' days." We have fond memories of you, Maricar.

Our prayers & our thoughts are with you & your loved ones.
Rest in peace now, we love you!

To the Family of My Dear Friend, Maricar,

It truly is saddening to have such a sudden loss in our lives. There never is the right time for we never really want to let go... I for sure would like to hold on the memories that Maricar and I have shared....The only consolation I have is that we were able to communicate and catch up on the ongoings in our busy lives that not seeing each other for 2 decades and a half did not seem to matter anymore. With such a good heart, she truly is at peace with the Lord. I only pray for her loved ones for strength and a much bigger heart to be together in this most trying moment in their lives. I will continue to pray for the repose of her soul and that she may find eternal peace.

Sincerely,

My sincerest and deepest sympathies to Maricar's family and loved ones on her untimely passing. I am extremely surprised and saddened with the news, which is why  it is only now that I am able to "somewhat courageously" email a few lines. I hope I am not too late. Maricar was a close chum in Grade School at SPCM.  Alhough we had different circles of friends in HS, she is one of those that forms part of my precious Grade School memories, which is  evident in the various Grade School pictures I have with her in it. I missed the Silver Jubilee, yet I have always planned upon catching up with classmates in the US sometime soon. I sort of hoped and wondered if she would remember me if I ever had that trip to LA at all. I have incessantly  offered and said prayers for Maricar, upon receiving text messages of her illness.  Sadly, we will never be able to offer thanksgiving prayers for her recovery from the dreaded illness.  But I am comforted with the thought, and I pray!  that her family and loved ones take comfort too, that Maricar has received the Ultimate Healing.  She has been released from pain and suffering and has now gone to a Better Place in Our Father's House.  Sleep gently and sweetly, Maricar. May God Our Father grant you a peaceful and eternal rest in the Love and Comfort of Jesus and Our Sweet Mother Mary.
