2005 HOMECOMING PREPARATION NOW IN PROGRESS!
We had a reunion at the Manila Manor Hotel and decided
to
begin our homecoming preparation since most of the
classmates
living in Manila were present.
FUNDS
We all had agree that each member of the batch were to
contribute an amount of P2,500 / UD$50.00, this would be the minimum
amount , for those who would want to donate more are welcome to do
so. Contributions may be paid in an installment basis and must be
fully paid by March 2004. All contributions shall be used for our
home coming events: dinner, yearbook & homecoming concert etc. .
All 47 ladies contributed P300.00 that night to come up with a start
fund, we encourage every member of this batch living abroad to give
their contributions early, we thought that it was a fair thing to do
since the people in manila will do all the leg work for this
event.
We will publish a breakdown of expense and explain to you why
each person should donate P2500 / $50.00 .
BANK ACCOUNT
Carina Fabra and May Doming will be in charge of all the
moneys and Carina will be opening an account for us maybe with with
Citibank, we just need to collect money cause there is a P25,000.00
minimum requirement. we will publish all the details as soon as we
open up the account.
Venue
Our
Homecoming will be a 2 or 3 day event , January 2005
Day 1 - Dinner with classmates, place and time have not been
decided on, it all depends on the amount of contributions and should
have a final plan sometime July of 2003.
Day 2 - Visit our outreach program, so far we have decided to
help the spcm retired nuns at the Vigil house.
Day 3 - Homecoming at St. Paul College of Manila, Mass,
Snacks, group Picture taking, Homecoming concert and if budget
allows Farewell party at the Manila Manor Hotel.
Fund Raising
We have formed a fund raising committee to help us raise
funds for our various homecoming events and for our outreach
program(Vigil House) they will be meeting on August 3, 2002 at the
Manila Manor Hotel to talk about how to raise funds for the whole
event and try to lower the cost of individual contributions, if we
have excess money, it will be distributed with the
yearbook.
YEARBOOK
As you all know our batch did not have a yearbook so our goal
is to have one (A NICE ONE!!!!) We Encourage you to send me(chona)
pictures : Your Solo Picture, Family Picture and HS Photos either
via mail or email. Chichi Comsti and i will do the layout and chichi
has connections with a printer here in the US and will be able to
get us a good rate. Yearbook will be distributed on the homecoming
dinner.
